Ox Notes: June 23, 2008

It's a slow news day in TV-land. The big industry news of the day is that Mark Burnett Productions is for sale for a mere $400 million.

Supernatural creator Eric Kripke signed a two-year development deal with Warner Brothers, which may include a Supernatural spin-off series set in the Old West. Perhaps audiences will get to see exactly how and why "The Colt" was created.

ESPN announced the anchor lineup for its new, all-day version of SportsCenter, which premieres on August 11. Too bad one of my favorite anchors, Linda Cohn, is scheduled to host while I'm still asleep, from 6-9 a.m. ET.

So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy talked about her infamous laugh with Chelsea Handler.

Entertainment Weekly's SYTYCD recapper wasn't happy about Marquis' elimination last Thursday.

Adam Carolla stopped by The Soup on Friday to promote -- what else? -- the DVD release of his movie, The Hammer.
