Ox Notes: April 25, 2008

Good news, sports fans: Kenny Mayne and Jerry Rice will debut a new edition of DanceCenter on Tuesday's Dancing with the Stars Results Show. As a way of thanking him, go buy a copy of Kenny's new book, An Incomplete & Inaccurate History of Sport.

Not surprisingly, former DwtS contestant Cameron Mathison is predicting his old dance partner, Edyta Sliwinska, to win this season of DwtS with her new partner, Jason Taylor.

Another former DwtSer, Marie Osmond, is planning a 6-month run in Las Vegas with her brother, Donny, starting in September.

Current Dancing with the Stars contestant Shannon Elizabeth's new movie, Deal, opens this weekend, but my editor, Josh Larsen, recommends that you don't go see it. Check out more of Josh's movie reviews here.

DwtS pro Julianne Hough's former fiance, and winner of Dance War, Zack Wilson, will serve as Zac Efron's stand-in during High School Musical 3 rehearsals while Efron finishes filming Me and Orson Welles.

Jimmy Fallon will reportedly take over Late Night hosting duties from Conan O'Brien when O'Brien replaces Jay Leno on The Tonight Show in 2009.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Lindsay Lohan is worried that the upcoming reality show starring her mom, Dina, and little sister, Ali, will negatively impact Ali's life. It's not a good sign when Lindsay sounds like the most responsible Lohan.

Finally, the outcome of last night's Survivor: Micronesia was tragically inevitable. Natalie's emergence as a villain prompts Zap2It's recapper, Andrew Stubinski, to ask, "How long before Parvati and Cirie start feeling threatened by her?"

Again, Erik proved to be the show's most reliable source of humor. The sight of him essentially molesting Cirie's hand in order to lick every last crumb of chocolate cake from it will stay in my memory for a long time. And Cirie is probably still having nightmares about it.

CBS.com has two new videos from The Ponderosa, including footage of the newly eliminated castaway's arrival. Eliza revealed that, in six days, she's already gained back the twelve pounds she lost while on the island, and added two extra pounds as well. I'm sure Ozzy's Reese's Peanut Butter Cup s'mores contributed to that.
